Artist Statement and Bio

Suzette van Dorsser is a New Zealand based artist born in South Africa. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Massey University, she has dedicated her career to creating mixed media and painting works, often using printmaking techniques to generate raw materials.

In addition to her art career, Suzette has a wealth of experience in online content creation, where she promoted cut flowers in innovative and visually stunning ways, drawing upon her fashion and styling knowledge. She has also recently returned to her roots as an experienced sewer, using fabrics to create large scale quilting works.

Suzette's diverse range of skills and experiences, from art to online content creation, illustration, mural design and textile arts, showcases her versatility and adaptability as an artist.
